Since its flotation on the London and Irish Stock Exchange in 1988, the Group has expanded by organic growth and acquisition, with sales increasing from €174m in 1988 to €982m in 2000 and pre-tax profit growth (excluding exceptionals) from €5.6m to €49.8m over the same period.
